With experience in teaching Chinese language for years at the Association for Veteran and Disabled People Development and Community for Development of Widow and Orphan, Mr Lay Sok Heng has been employed as a Chinese translator since February 2006 with the responsibility for translating all kinds of documents related to laws and regulations from various Ministries including the Ministry of Economic and Finance (MEF), the Ministry of Commerce (MoC), and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT), and so on. In early 2010, he was promoted to GMAC Administrative Officer.

His job requires him to clearly understand the questions or inquiries from the internal and external stakeholders and provides timely assistance to them as well as concerned departments. He also deals with incoming and outgoing letters. As part of the Administration Department’s role, he provides industry updates and useful information to partners, buyers, GMAC members and other stakeholders. In addition, as an Administrative Officer of GMAC, his work involves not only casual work but also some surveys on garment factories and industry. With Bachelor of Business Administration, he is currently a Master candidate in Business Administration.
