Mr. Soung Houth started his first job as professor of philosophy in 1997 after his graduated his Bachelor of art in Philosophy from Phnom Penh University in 1996 and In 1997 he has received the professor diploma from Faculty of Pedagogy.

In 2000 he became the deputy secretary general of Cambodian Independent Teacher Association CITA before he moved to work as Vice-president of National Union Chamber of Cambodia NACC in charge for international affair and training in 2008. With this position he has attended and conducted may training on Labour law ,Human rights, Child Labour ,Basic of Trade Union, methodology, curriculum design, goals and objective setting, lesson plan ,session plan ,issue analyzing ,communication, training aids development , trainer check list , training plan , and training evaluation. In 2008 he has graduated Master of law and political science at Build Bright University BBU.

From 2009 to present he is a part time lecturer of labor law ,law on social security scheme and EU law at University of Management and Economic UME.

Mr Soung Houth has experience as a senior trainer/facilitator in the field of general staff training and development for NGOs and capacity building the trade union movement in Cambodia . He use to attend more national and international training or workshop on industrial relation, human right, grievance handling at Switzerland, France, Germany, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippine, Malaysia ,Singapore , Indonesia, Loa, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Be for he moving to work with GMAC as labor officer In 2013,He also work as civil servant at the Council of Minister in the information and quick reaction unit .
