Mr. Kaing Monika, known as Kaing, was born in 1980 in Phnom Penh city. He has been working with the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia since April 2008. Mr. Kaing is currently serving as GMAC’s Deputy Secretary General, responsible for strategic planning and overseeing the execution of all tasks in the Secretariat.

In addition to the current position, Mr. Kaing is a Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX). He is also a member of the Dispute Settlement Committee of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), and one of the private sector representatives to be a member of the National Arbitration Center (NAC – Commercial Arbitration). Furthermore, he has been running the Secretariat of the 7th Working Group of the Government Private Sector Forum since 2008. The 7th Working Group deals with Export Processing and Trade Facilitation.

He has diverse employment history with over 14 years of solid and practical experience in various sectors of businesses, such as school, insurance, bank and employers’ organization.

Mr. Kaing Monika holds a degree of Master of Business Administration in the field of Management. He is fluent in English and Khmer languages.
