VISIT TO CHINA 28th May. 2011
Phnom Penh – A joint Delegation led by His Excellency Vong Sauth, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training will visit the garment factories, and other businesses in Dongguan, China today 28th May 2011 for the 4-day visit (28 – 31 May 2011) to study the situation and development of Chinese labour market and the better cooperation in workplaces.
| His Excellency Vong Sauth, MoLVT (5th from right), and the eight delegation members include, His Excellency Seng Sakda, Director General, Mr. In Khemera, Director of Inspection Department, Mr. Koy Tepdaravuth, Director of Labour Dispute, Mr. Men Sochet, Director of Cabinet of Minister from Ministry of Labour, and Mr. Kong Sang, First Deputy Chairman, Mr. Albert Tan, Treasurer, Okhna Nang Sothi, Labour Advisor, and Mr. Ly Tek Heng, Operations Manager of GMAC will have direct meetings, discussion with both local and Foreign Direct Investors in the well-known industrial area in Southern part of China. All lessons learnt will be an added-value to the enhancement of Cambodia’s industrial labour relationship and to improve our good labour cooperation. |

“We will have a chance to see and learn from the development of Chinese businesses and investments. We are also expecting to see the good human resource development and how good workplace relationship and cooperation made” said Mr. Kong Sang before his departure.
GMAC had previously organized similar trips with the participation from different ministry representatives to discover the best practices and how to promote Cambodia’s investment climate.
Mr. Koy Tepdaravuth, Director of Laour Dispute Settlement, who had previously join the visit and now joining the second trip expects that he will see the changes in Chinese labour situation, development. “I am confident that the lessons learnt will help ensure the peaceful and productive businesses in Cambodia” He said.
